Most residents at a typical care home would be glad when they get a visit from family and friends, but that would happen not very often. Communication technology, such as video calls, can be greatly helpful. However, the problem lies in the availability and priority of other family members.
How can we encourage more communication between our residents and their family members in a world where everything else seems to take priority?
Our team used the Bump Call application to set up an Event centered around the Elder. By placing the Elder on one side and the rest of the family members on the other, we increase the chance of any of them running into the elder.
